Description

So first of all I'd just like to clarify that this is simply a practice - this has no relevance to the story, yet.
Excuse the dodgy writing, tooClap Sweating a little...

Basically in a nutshell this is Cookie's demon, Kira, trying to come out to play. But Cookie is resisting and making him angry.:o (Eek) Oops!

The warn down dun Mustang wandered aimlessly along the snowy ridges, dragging her dainty hooves along in the thick, ghostly blanket of whiteness. Her breathe was shallow as she inhaled a lung of the bitter cold air, exhaling it with a large sigh.
The mare's head was a mess, her thoughts were crumbling into a overwhelming shadow of doubt, conflicting herself over whether what these things Kira was saying were true or false.

'Hard to ignore the only voice you ever hear in your head.' A dark, eerie voice echoed in the mare's thoughts. 'Listen to me, Cookie, let me show you how to be free, I'm not your enemy. It's them, the horses of the Crystal Ember's Herd. The one whom you call your one true love, he's a traitor, he's a liar. He's lying to you.' Kira's cold, evil voice paused for a moment. Cookie's ears wrenched backwards, the words slinking out of the demon's mouth were somehow getting to her. She tried desperately to block out the unkind words but was scared off by the force of reality. 'It is very hard to ignore you.' Cookie's words were slightly slurred by her shaky mouth, her magnificent blue and red chimera eyes once happy, now so dull and lifeless. Kira had been sucking her life out of the poor mare for years upon years. 'But, I know what you're doing. I will not fall for it. I won't.' The nice part of Cookie is only part of her soul that Kira hadn't corrupted, the one part that her friends and her mate kept preserved with love and kindness. 'We shall see. Let me out, I'll prove it. Let me out.' Kira had started to become slightly edgy, Cookie's refusing angered him, he wanted to be obeyed. He did live in her thoughts after all. Cookie's eyebrows lowered as she came to a direct halt, she needed all of her strength to be able to battle her mind over Kira's, to keep him in her head.

Suddenly, a swift gush of air came from behind, lifting Cookie's pretty pink mane up into the air, dancing around with the bitter breeze. Cookie's head began to spin slightly, the bright baby blue eye began to change, a blood red color started to seep up into her eye, changing her iris's until it wasn't her eye, but Kira's, he'd manage to pass through her mind and infect her from the inside. Pain began to strike through Cookie's delicate body, she tried hard to close her eye, but it was as if her eyelids were frozen unable to erase Kira from her sight.

Suddenly, Cookie sensed a weak spot in Kira's mental activity, and with that chance rammed her eyes shut, the blue coloring started to fill her eyes again, before slowly re-opening them. But her head was throbbing massively, but for the sake of her families lives she could never let Kira out. Never.

'See. Just let me out, Cookie, and I won't hurt you anymore.'

'N-no..I won't.'

A chuckle escaped the demon's voice. 'You know you can't hold on forever Cookie...'

Cookie's eyes darted to the floor as a tear followed in the same direction. 'Please, enough Kira..please.'
But he was right, of course he was. She couldn't hold on forever, he will get out and when he does...
